Dining

Here at the Elks Head we have a menu with a wide range of option. Upon arrival, you will be offered a choice of seating, within our bar area or within our river facing restaurant. Please note that if you are bringing a dog we only allow them within the bar area.

Our kitchen is overseen by our head chef Stephane Mondiere and we pride ourselves on our excellent food. Alongside our regular menu, we also provide a daily special board. On Sunday, we provide a set menu, this changes weekly but always contains; Sunday dinners (we try our best to also offer 3 options of meat), a vegetarian option and a fish option.

Most of our meat is sourced locally and we try to serve Whitfield Estate game as frequent as possible.

We have a wide selection of good quality wine. We also pride ourselves in supporting locally business by offering local real ales.

Our spacious riverside dining-room can cater for those special occasions: birthdays, anniversaries, or even small wedding parties. Rooms are also available for private parties. We would be delighted to make your special day extra special and will always go the extra mile to achieve that.
