As well as it’s natural beauty, the Whitfield Estate is renowned for the quality of its shooting, be it red grouse, partridge or pheasant, and the Elk’s Head is popular with shooting parties in the autumn and winter months. Whether you are looking for a rough, walked-up day or a bigger driven day, the Estate will be happy to arrange these for you. Please ask us for details.

Fishing is also available: trout fishing all year round locally and sea trout or salmon in season on the River Allen on the Estate.
